Yes, I liked the light too. I walk these stairs every day (since it's where I live) and have seen how the light falls through the window many times at many times of day. It is best at night though, like this.

Yes, eventhough I today have a D300 my D70 is still to dear to me to get rid of. It was my first camera and with that I started learning how to make photos.
