Thank you Branislav ... I am glad you like it!
Awesome location! and I love this "raw" editing, i think it suits perfectly for shots like this one :)
Thank you Daria!
wooooow . great !
Thanks!!!
wonderful

Thank you!
I don't like the technique at all, I find it very tacky, but that is not important perhaps. It's well done for sure, you are good at it. I think that this is more graphic art than it is the photography lying behind it. It's a choice and people love it so congrats!
Thank you HenriAntoine for your feedback - even if it's a critical one ... I really appreciate your words ... I think this kind of editing is in first case a matter of taste - not everyone likes HDR ... and it's O.K. ... for me it's a fascinating technique - I love the microcontrast and all those little details which can be uncovered ... and yes - maybe you can call it graphic art, but hey - this is digital photography and I think it's already graphic art if you start editing a photo ... that's my opinion ... of course some people don't like it if the editing starts to get more intense - but as stated above - it's a matter of taste ... but one point I disagree with you: the photography behind it is as important [if not even more important] as it is for taking a "normal" photo ... I have to take care about composition and light and everything even if I would take a "normal" photo ... the editing is important for me too - I have the final picture in mind before I take the shot ... so I have to take care on the same basics as all other photographers too.
Agree Bjoern, that part remains essential and I can imagine that it must be quite exciting to look for a composition and subject matter that really work with HDR. Cheers
Yes it does ... it's very important to take care of it because not everything works with HDR ... I use it not only as "effect" - but I think it suits very well for such locations ...
Wow, stupendous shot! Did you do some post processing too?
Thanks for the kind feedback ... yes - I did some post processing ... first making a HDR ... post processing (BW conversion, gradient curves, contrast technique) with Photoshop CS3 ... it's is not everyone's taste - but I like it the way it looks now ... and I am glad you and others like it too.
there were some small details that I really liked in screening, that reflection in the windows top left of shot appealed to me and the processing choices really suit this scene. mal
Thank you Mal for your continuous support and feedback! I appreciate it!

Yay! I voted to have this shot approved, and I'm so glad it was. I really liked the HDR, the contrast, and the sepia shading (not to mention the great subject matter!).
