Sean, this is a really beautiful capture. So serene and lovely. Wonderful feeling.
Thank you Angela. Glad you like it.
The lighting is magnificent. What really makes the image is your wonderful composition with all the "frames". Great work!

Thanks again.
Well captured moment. I am not far from Kyoto now and can just feel the atmosphere from your image. It's exactly how I see and feel it when going to the temples. thanks!
Thanks Seeker. This was taken at Tenryu-ji in Arashiyama.
i loved the tranquility of this & so japanese. nicely isolated & wonderful muted light. i didn't vote for this either way simply because the woman looked like she had grown a wooden nose. easy to remedy in photoshop.
That is a wooden nose. :-)

Actually after receiving quite a few comments in screening I plan to work on this image a little more.
Great atmosphere.
Thanks.
good light and nice capture
Thanks. I got lucky with the light and the moment coming together at the right time.
Reminds me of my visit there. Well done!
I'm happy it brought back memories for you.
Same for me. Wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful exposure.
Thanks Henri - Glad you like it!
This was a favorite in screening, a very beautiful image, Sean, a wonderful capture! Love it!
all the best

Thank you. If you ever go to Kyoto you will probably see this kind of scene quite often in temples.
Don't know if I'll have the chance to be there someday :-(...but even if I'll see this scene for many times, here you've captured the feeling of that moment perfectly. Great work!
all the best
Codrin
