Samuli Pyykkö wrote 3 weeks ago This is great. it's very unconventional in a way, a nice departure from the usual hunt for beauty, so to speak. But still, it's obviously very beautiful! The muted colors fit the photo really well, too. Ursula I Abresch replied 3 weeks ago Thank you! It's a strange beauty to have a smelter like this in the mountains. man eating mountain - sad but true... very dramatic because of the light and silhouettes laura hartley wrote 2 months ago Gorgeous and surreal. How did you make this scene so gorgeous? YOu are a magaician! Thank you for comments on ym new work here! I am still confused and lost here, but muddling through! Laura Hartley Ursula I Abresch replied 2 months ago Thank you, Laura. In this case, it was nature that did most of the work :) Scott Crouse wrote 3 months ago Ursula, have enjoyed all your series of industrial landscapes. You've made something ugly beautiful! Great light composition, really rendering the climate issue in a strong way Bjørn P. wrote 3 months ago Stunning work ... it makes me smile when I look at the picture itself because of the very nice editing ... it makes me sad when I start to think about what I see here ... Ursula I Abresch replied 3 months ago Thank you. That is pretty much the same way I feel about it, it is beautiful to look at, but sad to think about. FWIW, there is very little editing done to this image - it was the original light that made it. Ulf Börjesson wrote 3 months ago Dramatic and powerful, yet beautiful. No wonder the climate is getting more comfortable here in the northern Europe ;) U Ursula I Abresch replied 3 months ago Thank you, Ulf. Let me know when you guys get ready to export those Swedish bananas and pineaples! :) Tom Hoops wrote 3 months ago Really really nice Ursula. Shots like these are warming me to landscapes. Martin Gremm wrote 3 months ago This is very good. I can't make up my mind how to interpret the atmosphere and I am a big fan of shots that allow for multiple interpretations. It makes a person think. Ursula I Abresch replied 3 months ago It is a bit of an ambiguous photo, it's intended that way. As mentioned to Codrin below, on the one hand I look at this and don't know what to say, but then the light and the play of shapes is so beautiful so often. It's all very confusing. Codrin Lupei wrote 3 months ago Sorry, I have just to repeat myself...an excellent capture!...and...what are we doing? :-( Great work! all the best Codrin Ursula I Abresch replied 3 months ago Codrin, thank you, but I am so confused. What do you mean, "What are we doing?" Codrin Lupei replied 3 months ago ...sorry for not being very clear :-(...talking about us, mankind...it could be seen what we're doing, sadly! Ursula I Abresch replied 3 months ago Ahh, yes, exactly. It's always like that when I look at these industrial facilities - I wonder how we can go on like that. I often don't even want to talk about it. |
